Johnny Depp, Olsen Twins & More Come Out For Surprise Rolling Stones Show At Echoplex

Thousands of suckers and I spent the better part of Saturday waiting in a line that started along Wilshire Boulevard in front of the El Rey Theatre and wrapped around the very large city block. Though no official announcement would come until hours later, we'd gotten word The Rolling Stones were going to play a surprise show at the 700-capacity Echoplex that evening with tickets to be sold from the El Rey box office. At about 12:30pm with the sun absolutely blazing, the show was officially announced via Twitter, along with the revelation that a lottery would determine who of the hopefuls would get their hands on a coveted ticket.
