Everyone knows the best Art Basel parties happen over the weekend, after the crazy rush!

This past Saturday, AKTION ART Co-Founders Nick Hissom and Kameron Ramirez proved just that, teaming up with Aston Martin to host a fabulous VIP Collectors Brunch.

Held at the new Aston Martin Residences Tower, the stylish soirée fêted British artist Connor Addison, whose brilliant, incredibly detailed works on linen were on display. A master of modern surrealism, Addison's cubic figures act as characters interacting on a stage of monumental architectural landmarks - now adding Brickell's exclusive sixty six story luxury tower at 300 Biscayne Blvd.

DJ Ty Sunderland was on-site to provide the perfect soundtrack as guests sipped on Bodvar Rosé and UME Plum Liqueur martinis while taking in the art.

"Where the Crawdads Sing" star Taylor John Smith shared snaps to his Instragram story, while South African media personality Bonang Matheba posed for photographs in between a $2.3 million Aston Martin Vulcan Hypercar and a 10-foot masterpiece by Addison.

Other notable guests included VOLTA Art Fairs Director Kamiar Maleki, Andres Garzon, singer Lorenzo Doryon, socialite George Mickum, Andrea Lledo, art collector Christian Carbone, and Teymour Vahabzadeh. Apollo, the cutting-edge technology platform that curates playlists for digital art, was also a co-sponsor of the event.
