Runway Report: Peroni Nastro Azzurro Emerging Designer Series
This Miami Swim Week marked the 3rd Annual Emerging Designer Series contest, hosted by Fashion Group International, FUNKSHION and Italia Independent in the name of Peroni Nastro Azzurro, the world's number one premium Italian beer. This contest gives young fashion designers in Southern Florida a taste of a high-profile fashion show at no cost. This year's participating designers included Carolin Autenrieth, Carolina Benoit, Catherine Malvicino, Gustavo Alonso, Melida Salcedo, Mimmy Begazo, Nastassia Bauta, Parker Trumble Pilar Tarrau and Valentina Delfino. These emerging fashionistas may not have much experience, but the ensembles that took the runway would tell you otherwise.
