Gio Loves New York
In 2011, Gio moved from Milan to New York to work at
W and to live in the same city as her boyfriend,
Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld, and Gio really knows how to come in with a bang. A few weeks after her arrival,
Eddie Borgo (whose Spring 2011 look book Gio was featured in) threw his muse a Welcome to NY soiree at
The Upstairs at Cipriani Downtown. Borgo studded an I Love NY shirt for the guest of honor, and all who came to the party went home with an "NY Loves Gio" t-shirt souvenir.
