GofG internships are designed to give our interns a solid learning structure of the NYC cultural landscape in fields including but not limited to: Sales, Marketing, Digital Media, PR, Fashion, Tech, Social Media, etc. Our goal is to provide you with the most integrated experience possible to help you find future paid work in your area of interest.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Assisting the sales & marketing team in their efforts to prospect, pitch, and secure new and repeat business -Earning real commission through successfully selling photography and marketing packages -Administrative duties
Qualifications and Expectations:
-In NYC area and can start immediately -Minimum commitment of 12-15 hours per week in our offices (Meatpacking) -Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking ability -Excellent interpersonal skills, independent work style, minimum supervision -Excellent research, writing and communications skills -Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and/or Keynote -Interest in sales, marketing, events, event planning, and public relations -Interest and knowledge of NYC nightlife, fashion, culture
The sole form of compensation is commission earned for successfully selling marketing and photography packages, particularly within the New York market. There is no ceiling to how much our interns can earn. The more you put into your experience, the more you'll get out of it!
You'll work directly with the VP of Sales & Business Development and the Managing Director of Guest of a Guest, so this is a great opportunity to show off your skills to top-level staff who directly influence long-term hires. Make yourself indispensable, and you will certainly be rewarded!
