Alexander Esguerra, Love & Paint
Next Tuesday night at
The Box, Alexander Esguerra will present the seventh edition of his
Love & Paint series, entitled "Vernal Equinox." Described as a conceptual art form, Love & Paint features a series of canvasses that were painted by the bodies of couples in coitus, leaving what the artist calls
"a lasting mark that represents this moment of self-actualization."
Right.
The invitation (and this is Invite Only, y'all) also promises
"concoctions, aphrodisiacs, and a titillating live performance." You might want to leave grandma at home for this "exhibition."
