Michael Bullock presents: "Freaky Boiz" at MoMA PS1
The Freaky Boiz made Youtube waves in 2010 after posting their
renditions of popular rap songs, with lyrics detailing gay sexual exploits. Highly controversial, their music directly challenges stereotypes associated with hip hop and the African American community, and their performance this Sunday at MoMA PS1's Performance Dome should spark some lively debate.
The concert, featuring DJ sets by Honey Dijon and Michael Magnan, will be introduced by a video,
The Source, created by NYC-based artist collective, Yemenwed.
Moma PS1 Performance Dome,
22-25 Jackson Avenue
Concert: Sunday, March 18, Noon-6pm
