David Lynch, Solo Exhibition
The creator of such cult classics as
Mulholland Drive and
Twin Peaks will be opening a solo exhibition this Friday at Tilton Gallery, his first since 1989.
Little-known fact: Lynch began his career as a painter at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, and only turned to film as "a way to make his paintings move." Spanning the artist's career, this exhibition includes paintings, photographs, sculptures, and film which project Lynch's surreal style and eccentric wit and wisdom.
