Jeff Koons At Gagosian Gallery
An eclectic culmination of Jeff Koons's multimedia and multi-dimensional work will be displayed at Gagosian New York beginning May 9. The show will operate as a sort of sampler plate, featuring major pieces from throughout the artist's career which exemplify the diverse nature of his modes and methods, inspirations and innovations.
From children's art and comic book characters to classical Greek sculptures, Koons incorporates facets from different ends of the cultural spectrum into his art and somehow manages to weave a common thread of connection between them.
An opening reception will be held May 9, from 6-8pm
