Kraine Gallery, Animal Love

Kraine Gallery, Animal Love
Want some wild things to make your heart sing? Check out "Animal Love" at Kraine Gallery, curated by artists Herbert Mendoza and Bonnie De Wit. This group exhibition features New York artists with an interest in the role of animals in contemporary art. Sincere animal portraiture, oil paintings of critters and beasts, anthropomorphism, figures and creatures, and carnal eroticism give this little art show sharp little teeth. Look out for love bites at the Valentine's Party at next door's KGB Bar. Through March 18 at Kraine Gallery, 85 East 4th Street. Opening Reception: Wednesday, February 8, 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Special Valentine's Party next door at KGB Bar.  For more information, go HERE. [Photo via]
