Jose Parla
Known most for his detailed paintings, Jose Parla is a multi-faceted artist who recreates themes of urban life and street art. He creates inimitable paintings and murals featuring his signature calligraphic strokes, which often look like tattered city walls from afar. Parla recently combined his work with photographs by artists JR to create intimate portraits of elderly Cuban citizens who lived through the revolution.
