Face Oil

After cleansing and using a hyaluronic acid essence or serum, it's time to use an oil. We can write an entire post about our favorite oils; we are constantly discovering new ones. Plum is our latest addiction - specifically Equal by Nature's Sweet Plum Oil. Plum oil is loaded with omega fatty acids and beta-Carotene - it is more nutritious for your skin than other plant based oils. It's expensive to produce as it comes from the seed but we promise it's worth it. The sweet scent and light nature leave our skin moisturized but not greasy.

Another non-greasy oil we are obsessed with is Marula. Lime Life by Alcone makes an amazing Midnight Oil with Marula that is full of antioxidants and emollients.

Then there's Rosehip oil - another light option but very moisturizing and full of Vitamin A and C, which are necessary for the production of collagen. It reduces inflammation, so it's great to put on after a retinoid. Our favorite Rosehip face oil on the market is Boscia's Rosehip Omega Face Oil

Goldfaden's Fleuressence is an incredible pure active botanical oil with fruit extracts and rich omega fatty acids that strengthen skin and protect against environmental stresses. Speaking of environmental stresses, UMA Oils makes an incredible resurfacing and antiseptic oil, the Absolute Anti-Aging Face Oil. It's a blend of potent botanicals like Neroli, Geranium, Lavender and Rose that diminish fine lines and treat discoloration.

Other oils we love include Juice Beauty's Stem Cellular Replenishing Oil & Indie Lee's Overnight Facial Oil.
