Exfoliation

To prep your skin for your spa hour, we suggest using Dermaflash. It's a proprietary edge razor that vibrates and removes peach fuzz and dead skin. Be very gentle and don't go over the same area more than twice. We do this before we start because it enables the products we use to soak into the skin faster and more evenly. We need a good clean canvas for the acids we use for exfoliation (remember, never scrub your face).

To keep up the maintenance, it's best to use gentle fruit acids to exfoliate the face. Bynacht has a great Alpha Hydroxy Acid called Über Glow that polishes and exfoliates. It's formulated with Malachite and green tea leaf extract to calm and cool, so you don't get irritated. Leave it on for ten minutes and rinse off - we suggest doing it overnight as you'll feel tingling for a while after. Another great peel is the Triple Berry Smoothing Peel by Renée Rouleau. It's a professional strength face peel with antioxidant berries, AHAs and BHAs that evens the skin tone from discoloration and stimulates cell growth. The secret to looking young is by constantly regenerating your skin cells, and you can do this with Retinol (at night) or by using acidic peels like the two mentioned above.

If you travel a lot, Eve Lom makes conveniently sized Peel Pads with AHA, BHA, PHA, Glycolic, fruit, and Lactic acids that gently exfoliate and preserve moisture levels.

Sensitive skin beauties should use Lancome's Renergie Lift Milk Peel that works to gently regenerate skin cells over time. Use it like a toner before applying moisturizer.

For the rest of the body, use Isa Lazo's Body Scrub - it's blended with tea tree oil, crushed cranberry seed and over 100 active components and anti-microbial properties. It improves our skin texture and leaves us soft for hours. LimeLife by Alcone makes a great foaming body scrub called Bamboo Renew with lemongrass and mimosa flower. The granules are a mix of walnut shell and bamboo, so it's fine enough to use on your neck and sensitive areas.
