Masks

After exfoliation, we like to put on one (or two) masks. One for drawing out the impurities and another to moisturize and calm our skin.

Renee Rouleau makes a great anti-inflammatory acne treatment mask that clears and prevents blemishes. The Rapid Response Detox Masque is known to help pre-menstrual acne and post-party puffiness. This vegan mask cleans your deepest pores and fights the root of inflammation.

A great mask for dull and tired looking skin is Indie Lee's I-Waken Resurfacing Mask - it gently exfoliates while soaking up excess sebum. It's best for oily skin types and those with uneven skin tone.

After you resurface and draw out impurities, you need a moisturizing mask. Boscia makes a lightweight Cactus Water Peel-Off Mask that awakens dead skin. Queen of the Night Cactus and Sea Fern Algae hydrate while Vitamin C brightens. If you're a fan of their Cactus Moisturizer, you'll love this mask.

If you need extra hydration, use Priori's Hydrofill Mask - it's water for your skin. Packed with vitamins, antioxidants and algae, this mask moisturizes from the deepest level and fights environmental damage from pollution and the sun.

After you've applied your masks, use a gentle moisturizing toner like Laneige's Cream Skin Toner + Moisturizer. It balances your pH level and gives you a great moisture base for the rest of your products. Make sure to let it soak in for a few minutes before continuing the rest of your routine.
