"Best $115 Million I Ever Spent!" Elizabeth Taylor's Jewelry Auction Breaks World Records

In the photo to the left, Elizabeth Taylor shows off the 33.19 carat diamond ring given to her by husband Richard Burton, the actor she met on the set of Cleopatra and married twice. Yesterday, that same ring sold for a whopping $8,818,500 in auction to a private buyer in Asia. In total, Taylor's jewelry collection fetched a record-setting $115 million.
