Zelda Fitzgerald's husband was F. Scott Fitzgerald - you know, the amazing mind behind The Great Gatsby. However, she was quite a character herself. But despite being the ultimate 1920s muse to her hubby, vehemence, alcoholism, money problems, and her eventual mental illness marked (and were potentially caused by) their marriage. During her time in a facility, she wrote Save Me The Waltz. F. Scott was furious and made her erase much of her content, as it was semi-autobiographical.
