Antoni From 'Queer Eye' Is All About A Paid Instagram Post

    Is it just me, or was it only two minutes after season one of Netflix's 'Queer Eye' was released that were they already promoting their second? Not that I'm a hater. QUITE the contrary. I adore / am entertained by this show and its cast of lovable characters just like the rest of humanity seems to be. I watch their episodes, their interviews, their Instagram stories. 

    And just as with all great groups - like the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys before them - everyone has their favorite member of the Fab Five. And sure, most would admit that Jonathan's Lisa Frank trapper keeper of a personality is simply too good not to want in your life, but most and more would say that Antoni's puppy dog face is everything. So, it should be no surprise then that of course everyone would want a piece of the face that launched a thousand gay/straight/bi/fill-in-the-blank ships. From a marketing standpoint, of course.

    And oh, have they gotten it. Hanes, Whole Foods, StrongbowSilk Almond Milk, Cointreau, Vita Coco. Who knows what other partnerships are in contract at this moment and are soon to be debuted! Dude - we get it. People must clearly be buying what you're selling since brands are lining down the block to pay to play on your Instagram feed. And as Jonathan would say, good for you, get that money honey! BUT, perhaps it may be best to take a note from the tortoise and not the hare on this one. It'd be a shame to see such a cutie turn into a walking ad of #sponsoredshit you just want to scroll by.
