James and Dave Franco, Quick Facts
-Both brothers are from Palo Alto, California. Their mother Betsy Franco joined General Hospital and played James’ mother for a short-term role.
-James has several degrees, including a BFA in English from UCLA, two MFA degrees in writing from Columbia and Brooklyn College, and another MFA in Film from New York University.
-James auditioned for the role of Peter Parker in "Spider Man" but was chosen for the part of Harry Osborn.
-Dave’s first TV appearance was on 7th Heaven in 2006, and has since gone on to play characters in "21 Jump Street," "Superbad" and "Fright Night."
-Dave tested for the role of Edward Cullen in Twilight.
