In honor of Goop's new G. Label fine jewelry collection, which launched this week, Gwyneth revealed that she and her lookalike daughter get pierced together every year for the teen's birthday.
"Every year on Apple’s birthday, we get a new piercing — it’s this little tradition we have," she wrote on the collection's shoppable landing page, paired with, of course, topless photos of her modeling the new pieces.
"She was a big inspiration for this collection and helped me refine the designs. She'll definitely be 'borrowing' her namesake earrings," GP added, referring to the $1,450 Apple Circle Pavé Drop Earrings featuring 14k gold and white pavé diamonds. You know, just a pair of earrings one would totally trust with a 17-year-old.
Judging from these and the rest of the debut jewelry collection, which also includes a $1,300 "Goop spin on the traditional signet ring" and $2,500 gold link necklace, we're going to guess those mommy-daughter piercing days don't go down at Claire's.
