Inside Emily Ratajkowski's Surprise Space-Themed Baby Shower

When Sarah Hoover is basically the Creative Director of your baby shower, you know it's going to be a colorful, over the top, très luxe affair (with like, a LOT of Tom Sachs stuff worked in, and at least 2 pounds of caviar).

An intimate group of friends including Alison Chemla, Leigh Lezark and Megan Robinson gathered at The NoMad Hotel this Sunday to fête model and soon-to-be mother Emily Ratajkowski. To kick off the festivities, they surprised Emily at home with her bridal shower look (a snakeskin print button down dress and black knee high stiletto boots), blindfolded her, and swept her off to their secret location.

Not going to lie, the surprise thing is cute, but leading a pregnant woman in heels through the slushy streets of New York seems like too high stress of a moment, no?

Upon removing her mask Emily was met with a decadently decorated scene - as Sarah Hoover described it, a "space themed surprise Galantine's baby shower." The playful tablescape featured Tom Sachs menus, Tom Sachs temporary tattoos, Tom Sachs sweatshirts, chocolate cigarettes, marbled party hats, fringed crackers, star crowns, disposable cameras, and custom "Bearata" tie-dye masks.
