After splitting with Jamie Foxx last year, Katie Holmes seems to have found love again - or at least a new boy toy to make out with. Over the past week, the actress has been spotted out and about at hot spots in NYC with her new beau, It Boy chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. They were first seen dining al fresco at Antique Garage in Soho, then fervently embracing some PDA at Peasant. Celebrities, they're just like high schoolers.

While our first thought about Katie's new romance was, of course, Good for her, there is a bit of drama in the backstory. As it turns out, 33-year-old Emilio, a downtown staple and the son of the restaurateur who owns A-list eatery Emilio's Ballato, had been engaged for over a year to designer Rachel Emmons. They were still together as recently as July of this summer, but in a bombshell DM to celeb gossip IG, @deuxmoi, an anonymous source said that the chef dumped his fiancée the day the first photos of him with Katie came out. The worst part? They claim that he did it over text.
Seriously, why even are men?
Maybe one of his wifed-up besties, Joe Jonas or Brendan Fallis, can give him a firm talking to for next time.
