Kendall Jenner TOTALLY Just Won The Bottle Cap Challenge... On A Jet Ski

by Stephanie Maida · July 8, 2019

If you've been off social media for the past few days, say, enjoying your summer vacation in actual real life, we've got some terrible news. The world has launched into a new viral trend fueled by the internet, and everyone from Justin Bieber to your dad is in on it.

Behold, the #BottleCapChallenge. Although it reportedly began within the mixed martial arts community, it seems innocuous enough - there is no ice bucket or dangerous carside dancing involved. Rather, one attempts to roundhouse kick the cap of a bottle clean off. If anything, it's more risky for the person holding the bottle and filming the video, which, in case you were wondering, is typically edited in slow-mo for dramatic effect.

First @erlsn.acr did it. Then @blessedmma followed, and challenged me. I now challenge @jasonstatham. #bottlecapchallenge

In addition to Bieber, the likes of John Mayer, Blake Shelton, Jason Statham, and Guy Ritchie have all taken a straightforward approach to the challenge - the bottles have differed, but their techniques have remained rather boring. Leave it to the ladies, then, to seriously shake things up.

Hailey Bieber, for one, employed an ATV in her action shot, while Mariah Carey simply harnessed the power of her own voice. And though Lizzo's hilarious attempt addressed the challenge's obvious ridiculousness, Kendall Jenner has undeniably put every other participant to shame.

Rolling up to the bottle on a jet ski wearing nothing but a thong bikini, the supermodel effortlessly stands side saddle, flicks out her foot, and unscrews the cap to an epic soundtrack before riding off.
