Lena Dunham Is Selling Her Wardrobe For Planned Parenthood

As our current government continues to wreak havoc across the planet, the funding for Planned Parenthood and women's healthcare (and their basic human rights) has been disfigured, chopped, and gutted. However, we've seen an overwhelmingly powerful support system become established for PP, from bake sales that are a throwback to your childhood to sending your senators vibrators that are well...uh....a throwback to that electric toothbrush you got as an underwhelming stocking stuffer for Christmas.

The latest motion to support Planned Parenthood? It's all thanks to Lena Dunham.

Yes, that Lena Dunham. As we all know, last week society ripped Lena Dunham a new one because of some drama with her dog and her martyr complex about the whole thing. We're pretty sure that "new one" is the only body part chica hasn't exposed on Girls. Lena has always touted herself as a champion for feminism by baring it all, but this time, she's involving clothes, and she's doing it for Planned Parenthood.

And probably some attention if we're being honest.

Lena Dunham is selling 169 items from her enviable closet on the RealReal. She initially wanted to keep this swag to pass on to her future daughter, but now she's decided that supporting Planned Parenthood is a necessity right now.

We gotta hand it to Lena, this is an integrity move. We like the idea of sending vibrators to Ted Cruz and Mitch McConnell more because that's laugh out loud hilarious, because the only thing more threatening to them than a women having rights is their wives having access to something that gives them sexual pleasure for once in their respective marriages. But this is a nice reminder that Lena Dunham can do something without being admonished for being clueless and attention seeking.

And this almost made us forget about poor sweet Lamby. Huh. Okay, now that we think about it, this is way too convenient of timing to pull a stunt like this. But hey, all for a good cause?
