Monica Lewinsky: The New It Girl?

Here I am again, once again thrown amongst the ridiculously glamorous crowds, at the Ralph Lauren charity event for Athlete Ally. Chatting up Alan Cumming, Tyson Beckford, Colton Haynes, (so sorry to miss you Uma Thurman, next time!) - it's a rough life, I know. Grabbing some casual selfies with Alan, speaking with some stylists, our conversation turned to the woman in red. They too confirmed it was THE Monica Lewinsky, and I knew I had to say hi. With the night coming to an end, I saw my window closing. So naturally I ran over and burst out a hello. It felt amazing. Thrilling even. A genuine smile was exchanged politely in response, and immediately, I knew. This girl had IT. And not like the IT of trendy It Girl DJs trolling the scene. No, IT in the Kate Middleton way, like just being in her presence makes you want to be a good person, kind of IT. Ridiculously lovely and friendly with everyone - what, did she go to high school with the whole room?! Once blasted as an ugly caterpillar, now celebrated, feted even as the social butterfly of New York. Things are clearly looking up for Miss Lewinsky - she's even best friends with Alan Cumming, as evidenced by his appearance on Watch What Happens Live, with my formerly discussed new flame Andy!
