Grace Kelly
The former Princess of Monaco, Grace Kelly, left her home in Philadelphia for the Big Apple at eighteen, in hopes of becoming an actress. While studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Her Serene Highness lived at the Barbizon Hotel for Women, 140 East 63rd Street, now the Melrose Hotel. Later, she moved to 988 5th Avenue, and then Manhattan House at 200 East 66th Street.
