Lauren Bacall
Born in the Bronx, Lauren Bacall moved to 75 Bank Street in the West Village with her mother when she was 17. By the time she was 21, she had moved to California with her husband Humphrey Bogart. The star of To Have and Have Not later moved back to New York, where she now lives at The Dakota, 1 West 72nd Street. A US National Historic Landmark, The Dakota, is most well known as the site of John Lennon's murder in 1980.
