And so, despite reports that the two Beckham branches hadn't spoken in months, fans waited with bated breath to see if Brooklyn and Nicola would accept the so-called "olive branch" offered by Victoria when she invited the couple to her runway presentation at Paris Fashion Week.
Ahead of the show, Victoria posted a behind-the-scenes video with her husband and other three children who had come out to support her. Her eldest son not included. Uh oh.
But, in the end, Brooklyn and Nicola did indeed arrive, and sat in the front row with the whole crew - alongside Anna Wintour and Edward Enninful.
Is there finally peace in the House of Beckham? It seems like it... for now.
