On Her Role In The "Gossip Girl" Reboot
Whitney is playing the role of Zoya Lott in the upcoming show, a main character who could be the next Blair or Serena.
So how does she feel about stepping into such big (stiletto) shoes? Well, with such a big fan base and high expectations galore, it’s impossible not to feel daunted by the idea of living up to the OG Gossip Girl. Although Whitney may feel the pressure, she believes fans will embrace the reboot.
"I feel like there’s no need to be threatened," she told Interview. "It’s definitely going to be interesting and I don’t think it’s going to take away at all from the original show in all its glory. It’s just going to be the same sort of world, eight years later."
Nevertheless, she has hinted at some new surprises, saying that she can’t wait for the audience to be caught completely off guard. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what the mystery is all about...
