You'll leave an item in a cab at some point
Even if you claim to be the world's most responsible person, you are destined to leave some item in a cab or Uber at some point during your college years. Maybe it's your beloved smartphone, which you frantically track on the findmyfriends app until you realize your forgetfulness, or maybe your wallet, which leaves you broke for the night and on your friend's bar tab. Prepare yourself kiddies, it's bound to happen and will be something to remember, and better yet, will make sure you never leave anything behind ever again. Or in my case, you'll get a friendly email from a man named Sam telling me he found my phone, and where to find it. You never know! (Thanks, Sam.)
