Pledged a big fraternity at a big university in the south. Had glass beer bottles and cups of pee hurled at us from balconies, freezing cold water poured all over us all during a lineup, had to stay up for almost 3 days straight (got 15 min of sleep night 2 and 30 night 3), had to listen to one song on repeat for all of hell week. That's just a few of many things. I heard a lot of it was inspired by what the military has to go through. No idea if that's true but dude, it sucked huge.
