Now a CFDA award winning designer, Greg Chait started out in the media biz and has no formal fashion degree.
-Born in Toronto
-Studied at the University of Arizona majoring in Communication for the Entertainment Industry' a degree he created himself.
-Interned for the late Whitney Houston
-Worked at Arista Records as well as talent agency The Firm before delving into fashion
-Partnered with designers of Australian label Ksubi in 2004, bringing the brand stateside. Sold shares in 2007.
-Started The Elder Statesman in 2007 with the money earned from the Ksubi buyout.
