The Proud Family? Solange was the voice of that theme song, her first musical accomplishment. From there, managed by her father Mathew Knowles, Solange's solo career involved collaborations with Lil' Romeo, Luther Vandross, Kelly Rowland and Lil' Bow Wow. She was 14 when her father allowed her to join her sister in her successful R&B group (you may have heard of it) Destiny's Child. Before long, Solange dropped that act to purse her own album. On January 21, Solo Star debuted at number 49 on the Billboard 200.
