Daily Style Phile: Who Likes Short Shorts?

So it looks like our Pompadour sporting friend on Spring Street is not the only one strolling around Soho in ultra chic footwear this Summer. This determined young sprite nearly mowed me over as he powerwalked his way down the street in his bright pumpkin colored suede loafers. Notice how the shoe laces have been pulled out- a subtle touch of nonchalance in contrast to the strictness of the rest of his attire. I dig the elegant blue dress shirt with white contrast piecing at the placket, paired with the razor crisp pressed shorts. I give the a boy a big thumbs up for his attention to detail and for taking a risk. So now for your input- Haute or Not?
