Food, fashion, and beautiful music - last night, all the elements of La Dolce Vita came together for a select set of guests at The Seaport District. Hosted by 10 Corso Como, the luxury shopping and dining destination founded in Milan, the evening celebrated the release of world-renowned singer Andrea Bocelli's new album, Si, and culminated in a priceless performance by Bocelli himself.
The three-part soiree kicked off with cocktails in 10 Corso Como's recently opened New York store, a glittering hub of designer goods that feels more like an interactive playground than a shop. Guests were then led into the shiny new restaurant space for a five course dinner which included dishes of lamb, Branzino, and the crowd-pleasing truffle risotto.
The guest list featured artists, fashionistas, and media figures, including Chloe Wise, Rocky Barnes, Gayle King, and 10 Corso Como founder Carla Sozzani. But the attendee getting the most buzz? Donald Trump's infamous former communications director Anthony Scaramucci, who nevertheless remained pretty low-key during dinner.
The main event took place next door, inside the upscale cinema, iPic. Dessert and mini bottles of champagne greeted revelers, who sunk into their plush seats for the intimate performance. David Weinreb, CEO of The Howard Hughes Corporations, introduced the man of the hour, who was accompanied throughout the night by violinist Anastasiya Petryshak, singer Ilaria Della Bidia, and even his son, Matteo Bocelli. Needless to say, there was hardly a dry eye in the room.
