Aspen season is officially in full swing!
The Aspen Art Museum's annual winter benefit returned this year with a groovy new look. Presented by Prada, CULTURED and Aspen Snowmass Sotheby’s International Realty, The Downhill Disco saw over three hundred of the ski town's most fashionable flock to the museum's rooftop, which was transformed into a 70s-themed dance club.
Glasses of Moët & Chandon and Whispering Angel acted as the perfect accessory to the caviar bar, sponsored by John and Amy Phelan, while DJ Pamela Tick kept the vibes lively and the dance floor full.
Event Chair Alexander Hankin returned to host the event alongside newcomers Suzanna Lee and Makenzie Moon Phelan, and a host committee brimming with scene staples, including Jayma Cardosa, Drew Milstein, Ryan Thomas Roth, Timo Weiland, Eric Viner and more.
"This event helps to raise funds for the museum for their ongoing projects including those that serve that greater Aspen community, including the upcoming Youth Art Expo, which will open in April and showcase artwork by more than 900 K-12 students from Rifle to Aspen," noted Hankin. "The Aspen Art Museum is the heart and soul of the creative community of Aspen, and what truly grounds this town as a world class arts destination."
