Could you think of anything more special than a dinner prepared by José Andrés... served inside The Met?!

Last Wednesday night, Capital One hosted a spectacular soirée at New York's most iconic cultural landmark. Guests including Daniel Humm, Fredrik Berselius, Waris Ahluwalia, Edward Barsamian, and an exclusive group of Capital One cardholders enjoyed a private tour of the Juan de Pareja: Afro-Hispanic Painter exhibition before sitting down for an art-inspired dinner held in the museum's Charles Engelhard Court.

Taking cues from the Spanish Masters of the Renaissance, Chef Andrés's menu featured ajo blanco (a chilled marcona almond soup punctuated with ossetra caviar), atún de almadraba (Andalusian red tuna with mojo verde topped with gold leaf and potato crisps), solomillo de ternera (sirloin steak with a Marrakesh rub, carrot puree, apricot, and pine nuts), and a sweet end to it all, arroz con leche (traditional creamy rice pudding with saffron espuma).

Curious to see inside the culinary, cultural affair?
