The scene was set at Spring Studios Wednesday night. On the 6th floor, the floor-to-ceiling windows let in the last burst of sunlight of the day, serving only to illuminate the gorgeous attendees of the Evening With The Dove auction while spiritually alluding to the brightness that would come. And it did in fact come, in the form of over $300k raised to provide the youth of under-developed communities in New York an educational opportunity via sports.
Of course it wasn't all so pristine; it was a challenge to stand in the room without squinting your eyes, but fortunately there were enough tall models to provide a little coverage. Lindsay Ellingson commented that the sunlight didn't bother her so much, perhaps because of her abundant experience in tropical locales. And in true professional form the photos of her were perfect, as were the ones of fellow models Toni Garrn, Edita Vilkeviciute, Andreea Diddy, and Charlotte Di Calypso, who stunned in a green YSL gown. But all attention was on the event chair Constance Jablonski, who was in a elegant Wes Gordon dress as she returned to the event following her honoree role last year. The event was a roaring success, and all the models and guests got together later at night to celebrate, but we made sure to catch up with Jablonski to learn why this charity means so much to her.
