It Girls and emeralds and pants, oh my!
Wednesday evening, Martha Stewart, Tina Leung and a casual lot of 400 other glittering guests followed the metaphorical yellow brick road to a green-hued tent sprung in the center of Ramsey Playfield to dance the night away at the Central Park Conservancy's Annual Gala.
Ever the high society affair, this year's "A Night in Emerald City"-themed event saw a generous $1.3 million raised to support the Park's crucial maintenance. While many of the glamorously clad women in attendance sported a more expected sequined silhouette - the dress code was dazzling, after all - a number of the evening's most stylish embraced the often untapped power of a cocktail party pant, like Beverly Nguyen and Madelynn Matichak.
