'Tis the season - for the Central Park Conservancy’s Women’s Committee Annual Fall Luncheon!
New York's chicest flocked to iconic park spots such as Bethesda Fountain and Conservatory Water on Wednesday afternoon for a town meets country affair featuring autumnal-inspired decor dreamt up by Meg Braff Designs, centerpieces by Flowers by Philip, and perfectly packed gourmet picnic baskets catered by Canard, Inc.
“What many people don’t realize is that Central Park is sustained largely through private funding, which the Women’s Committee supports in large part through events like this. We are thrilled to have been able to hold events safely throughout the last year to help ensure the Park could stay open and beautiful for every New Yorker and beyond,” shared President of the Women's Committee, Yesim Philip.
Ever the success, the soirée, which was generously supported by partner David Yurman, raised $400,000 for the ongoing maintenance, management, and restoration of Central Park along with its many community programs.
