An NYC staple for over three decades, Performance Space 122 is a hub of creativity and contemporary performance, so it's no wonder the space is supported by some of the city's most outgoing artists and personalities. Last night, actress and dancer Claire Danes was honored at the center's annual spring gala, held at Capitale. Chairs Alan Cumming, Stella Schnabel, and Charles Kerr toasted the Homeland star, who had her first performance at PS122 back in 1985. Guests including Debbie Harry, Casey Spooner, and Danes' Homeland co-star Mandy Patinkin, enjoyed performances by Peaches, Meow Meow, Edgar Oliver, Faye Driscoll, and Lance Horne, as well as a delectable dinner by Gabrielle Hamilton of Prune.
Who was there: Guests included Claire Danes, Alan Cumming, Stella Schnabel, and Charles Kerr, Mandy Patinkin, Debbie Harry, Parker Posey, Cecilia Dean, Mamie Gummer, Julian Schnabel, Daryl Roth, Justin Vivian Bond, Suzanne Geiss, Simon Hammerstein, Humberto Leon, Hadeel Ibrahim, Michael Cunningham, Chiara Clemente, Rachelle Hruska, Sean MacPherson, Arden Wohl, Serge Becker, and Timothee Verrecchia.
