Cadillac House has become one of the best new pop-ups of the season, joining other brands in creating interactive initiatives to bring in the world of consumer products and the immense culture of the city together. Last night was a prime example: the venue teamed up with Condé Nast Nast to celebrate the 'Daring 25,' 25 people who are changing their respective industries. Chosen by publications including GQ Style, Vanity Fair, Bon Appétit, Architectural Digest, and Wired, the list of 25 featured notable influencers like designer and DJ Virgil Abloh, saxophonist Kamasi Washington, and artist Philippa Price. All three of them displayed their talents at the party, starting with Abloh showcasing his signature hip-hop focused DJ set. Price had a light installation in the back that allowed guests to capture a high-wattage image of themselves, quickly earning a line to get in. And of course, Kamasi Washington continued a successful year (he has guested on Kendrick Lamar's albums and released an acclaimed solo debut called "The Epic") with an energetic set. After last night we'll be keeping a close eye on the 25 honorees to see how they'll change the game next.
