Daniel Mazzone Presents 'Torn Apart' At The Carriage House Center

Last night at The Carriage House Center, artist Daniel Mazzone, dubbed the “Next Andy Warhol", presented his first NYC show, “Torn Apart”, to an exclusive audience of art aficionados, local social influencers, and prominent local art buyers.

The collection on display was created by rearranging historic newspapers won at exclusive auctions, personal letters gleaned from in-depth research, seminal literary works, vintage photographs, and a vast array of eclectic and hard to find memorabilia and transforming them through a signature secret process into eye-catching collages that capture the intricate backstories of his often larger than life subjects.

Icons portrayed last night included Karl Lagerfeld, Babe Ruth, Pablo Picasso, and more. Selling out his last three shows, Daniel delves into his subject's stories through years of research to create vibrant works that merge rare personal relics with a modern pop art aesthetic.

The “Torn Apart” show at The Carriage House Center (149 E 38th St, New York, NY 10016) will continue through Monday, May 18th. For a private viewing please contact info@daniel-mazzone.com
