DECORTÉ, Asia’s coveted luxury skincare and cosmetics line, joined Susan Gutfreund to host a memorable luncheon for a group of fabulous ladies at Majorelle in NYC’s acclaimed Lowell Hotel on the Upper East Side.

The intimate event took place in the beautiful Club Room where guests were greeted with Kir Royal, champagne and cocktails. Attendees mingled with friends and chatted with DECORTÉ representatives about the line. To celebrate the launch of the new DECORTÉ Face Powder, consultants matched each guest with the appropriate color swatch and will gift them the new product in the future.

Celebrated restaurateur Charles Masson and his culinary team created a delectable menu that started with Risotto aux Petits Pois et Asperges, followed by the main course of Saumon au Miel d’Acacia et Citron and concluded with Fontainebleau aux Fraises des Bois for dessert. As the first course was served, Susan Gutfreund welcomed the group and introduced DECORTÉ’s Emi Hayashi who gave brief remarks about the brand before yielding the floor to Masanori Kobayashi, grandson of the company founder and current Executive Director of KOSÉ Corporation. Mr. Kobayashi discussed the history of the company his grandfather founded in 1946 and described their philosophy of creating cosmetics to give women dreams and hopes. The ladies stayed to socialize long after the meal concluded and received gift bags upon departure that included DECORTÉ hero products from their renowned Liposome Collection.
