Only in New York could a house party be this chic!
Wednesday evening, design lover destination and stylish art gallery Eerdmans fêted their newest exhibition with a very merry soirée.
Sam Sidney's brilliant show "New York Never Felt So Good," on view until November 6th, is a timely celebration of the city's most iconic personalities and beloved iconography.
Felt portraits of Jackie O, Notorious B.I.G., John Lennon, metro cards, street cart pretzels, taxis and more are sprinkled throughout the bright upper salon of Eerdmans' charming Greenwich Village townhouse.
Playing off of the artist's metropolitan love letter, the opening night party featured old school New York beats spun by DJ Peter Ergo and a surprise breakdancing performance by B-Born, Bboy Pollo and Bboy Checkmate. Adding to the playful scene, the Eerdmans team sported colorful I Heart NY shirts and served up trays of the ultimate crowd favorite hors d'oeuvre, pigs in a blanket.
