So basically, a bash about as weird as you'd expect when these three are the guests of honor.
Following Elon Musk's controversial hosting gig on Saturday Night Live this weekend, the billionaire celebrated with the show's cast, producers, and musical guest Miley Cyrus at downtown hot spot Public.
Ian Schrager's swanky hotel, which has been closed since the pandemic struck over a year ago, reopened its doors for Musk, his musician baby mama Grimes, and a slew of A-list attendees including Chris Rock, Alexander Skarsgard, SNL's Colin Jost, and Succession's Nicholas Braun (a.k.a. our beloved Cousin Greg).
Per reports, the party played up Musk's favorite cryptocurrency, Dogecoin, and the popular phrase, "Dogecoin to the moon," with waitresses dressed as aliens serving up trays of Dogecoin cookies and cupcakes. There were also Dogecoin ice sculptures and an on-site dog handler showing off a live Shiba Inu puppy, Dogecoin's internet-wide mascot.
According to onlookers, Musk, Grimes, and Cyrus spent most of the night dancing to techno music. Probably the same thing they'll be doing when Musk eventually colonizes Mars.
