If Frieze week served as any indication of the status of the city's social scene, we'd say the party circuit is heading full speed towards a comeback. After all, New York's gallery-going glitterati are always just a few steps ahead of the curve. Whatever they do, the rest are soon to follow.

Frieze New York, the city's first in-person art fair since COVID, landed at Hudson Yards and kicked off a slew of satellite shows and events that the cool kids came out for in full force.

Most notably were the events hosted by NeueHouse and Fotografiska, two artsy hubs which recently merged under the umbrella company CultureWorks. Artists, It Girls, and creative notables attended the series of cultural talks at NeueHouse, followed by a very stylish dinner at Fotografiska's long-missed eatery, Veronika, co-hosted by Antwaun Sargent, Josh Wyatt, and Yoram Roth. After their meals, guests were treated to edible floral desserts by Chefanie and drinks at the on-site Chapel Bar.

If it weren't for the handful of masks dotting some faces, the scene could have come from a time pre-pandemic. Hopefully, that's a good sign.
