With events just now back in full swing, it seems that Pride has conveniently presented itself as the perfect moment for every brand ever to pander to the LGBT+ community. Even comedian Meg Stalter got in on the fun, mocking companies with her all too true “Hi Gay” parody video. But among the myriad of events, rainbow filtered logos and late night parties there are some do-gooders out there.

On the heels of Andrew Warren and Lox Club’s World Pride Dinner, Evan Kline hosted the first Kline Time Pride Party at New York City's chic JIMMY rooftop in SoHo. The event's theme? "Category is: Jungle Couture." And oh did the guests came to slay in their looks! While the evening was at its core Kline’s birthday celebration, being the mensch that he is, the birthday boy asked that in lieu of gifts guests donate to a number of LGBTQ+ charities, including The Trevor Project, InterPride, Keshet, and amfAR.

The night featured music from DJ Timo Weiland, jungle lewks from RuPaul's Drag Race's AJA and friends, lip-sync performances from Jamie CD and Lexington Banks, and a birthday tribute from the iconic Queen / legend herself, Amanda Lepore. Guests included CT Hedden, Andrew Warren, Julia Moshy, Alexander Hankin, Jeff Perla, Ryan Thomas-Roth, Ruby Fox, Adam Perry, Ryan Clark, Seth Maynard, Natalie Jackson. The night was a great kick off to Pride week in the city and managed to help out some great causes at the same time.
