City Harvest's young professionals group, Generation Harvest, hosted their Ninth Annual "Summer in the City" tasting and cocktail party last night. Guests included young philanthropists and creative taste-makers of the city.-
Attendees were able to sample dishes from the city's hottest restaurants and chefs. To add some fun, VIP Guests were given a secret password that was used to access the Speakeasy Room. There, they were able to witness all the fabulous cocktail artists in action and sample specialty drinks.
City Harvest is the world's first food rescue organization, dedicated to feeding the hungry. This was Generation Harvest's biggest fundraising event of the year; last year the event raised over $225,000 in support of City Harvest's programs.
