Governors Ball Is Officially Back & The Lineup Is Everything!

Remember music festivals? All dressed in your most bohemian ensembles - outfits that 1. you'd never wear in real life, and 2. will definitely not keep you warm once the sun goes down - dancing with strangers having absolutely no regards for personal space? Those were truly the days...

Well, after over a year of near constant WTF moments, it seems things are finally settling back to some stable sense of normal. 

Governors Ball has officially announced its 2021 return! Clear your calendars starting Friday, September 24th through Sunday September 26th because you are so not going to want to miss this.

Of course, there will be some changes. To start, the beloved festival will be moving to the Citi Field complex in Queens, NY, which I think we can all agree is way easier to get to via public transportation than Governors Island, so like, not made about it. Not to mention there will obviously be health and safety measures put in place. But all in all, this marking the 10th anniversary of NYC's annual summer blowout, it'll be the same incredibly fun weekend we all remember.

Being a milestone year and all, they've pulled out all the stops with a lineup of over 60 performing artists including Billie Eilish, Post Malone, A$AP ROCKY, J Balvin, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Ellie Goulding, Leon Bridges, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Portugal. The Man., Burna Boy, Future Islands, Phoebe Bridgers, Jamie XX, Carly Rae Jepsen, Big Thief, Bleachers, and many more.
