The Guggenheim International Gala Pre-Party, sponsored by Dior, drew celebrities, models and A-listers clad in head-to-toe ensembles by the French fashion house from “Dior Addict” graphic tees to sheer dresses worn over logo'd underpinnings – a cooler crowd ahead of tonight’s black tie gala. Chic sister band HAIM was this year’s headliner (yet another amazing female performance for the annual event - Banks and Grimes have performed in years past) who took the stage in a trio of matching glittery red looks.

Dior’s Artistic Director, Maria Grazia Chiuri was in attendance with CEO Sidney Toledano, and notable attendees including Kate Mara, Michelle Monaghan, Mia Moretti, Chelsea Leyland, Aurora James, Phoebe Collings, in addition to models Teddy Quinlivan, Maartje Verhoef, Jing Wen, Skylar Tartz, Ellen Rosa and Grace Hartzel.

Guests sang along to HAIM’s celebrated singles, but when they ended their set with a surprise cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down,” attendees were sent into an Instagram tailspin hashtagging #GuggenHAIM.

Following the multi-song set, DJ Kindness took over and circles of models and New York City cool kids danced as the night came to a close.
